SHOT SHAPES/TYPES

ARC: 3-6 feet above the net.
LOOP: 6-8 feet above the net.
TOPSPIN LOB: 10 to 20 feet above the net.
ANGLE: Short crosscourt maximum topspin finish low.
DRIVE: Most pace, lowest shot, less spin.
APPROACH SHOT: Sidespin on high ball, 5-11 o’clock on medium height.
UNDERSPIN: Higher ball hit through the ball.
SLICE: Lower ball, hit outside to inside.

BACKSWING:
Elbow out, foot out, unit turn. Hit the slot.
1-3 LENGTH on the backswing.
1-3 HEIGHT on the backswing.

FOLLOW-THROUGH:
Elevated-finish over the shoulder.The typical arc/loop shot.
Upper arm-finish across the body.The roll over drive with angle.
Inverted-ultimate spin and angle.
Same shoulder shot-late shot hit with angle and spin
